Trump ally Letitia warns James against legal action in second term

Mike Davis, ally of the president-elect Donald Trumpwarned new York Attorney General Letitia James for not taking any legal action against Trump during his second term and threatening to send him to prison if he did so.

“I dare you to continue your case against President Trump into his second term,” Davis said. The Benny Show podcast. “Listen honey, we’re not stalling this time and we’re going to put your fat ass in jail for conspiring against rights. I promise you that.”

Davis is the founder of the Article III Project, a group that pushes for the nomination of conservative judges. His name was thrown around as Attorney General or White House counsel during Trump’s second term.

Davis’s words came after James’ statements on the subject at the press conference. election results. He said his office was “ready to fight once again,” pointing to how he used the rule of law to fight back.

“We did not expect this outcome, but we are prepared to respond to it,” James said. “And my office has been preparing for several months because we’ve been here before. We have faced this challenge before and used the rule of law to combat it. And once again, we are ready to fight back because as attorney general of this great state, it is my duty to protect and defend the rights of New Yorkers and the rule of law. And I will not shirk this responsibility.”

James and the Justice Department have previously been accused by Trump and his allies of creating a two-tier justice system.

Earlier this year, James won a $454 million fraud verdict against Trump, accusing Trump of inflating his net worth by billions of dollars in order to get better credit.

Trump is currently seeking an objection to the case.
