Apple has launched a service program that fixes problems with the rear camera of the iPhone 14 Plus. Affected users can receive a free repair at no cost for 12 months. Additionally, users who incurred repair costs prior to this announcement may be eligible for a refund. Within the scope of the Apple Free Service Program, repair of the rear camera problem will be provided free of charge, subject to users verifying their devices. The company reports that only a subset of iPhone 14 Plus models are experiencing these camera issues.

The issue primarily affects iPhone 14 Plus units manufactured between April 10, 2023 and April 28, 2024, and results in previews not being displayed on the rear camera.

How to take advantage of this opportunity

To determine eligibility, users must visit the Apple support page and enter their device’s serial number for verification.

There are special conditions for eligibility. Users should ensure that their iPhone 14 Plus serial numbers, which can be found on Apple’s website, are correct. Devices affected by this issue must not be more than three years old.

How to check serial number?

To check the serial number, users can: go to: Settings app on iPhone 14 Plus. When you select General and then About, the serial number will be displayed on the screen. This serial number can then be used on Apple’s website to check service program eligibility.

Meanwhile, the latest updates regarding the iPhone SE 4 indicate that Apple will most likely launch the highly anticipated budget-friendly iPhone model in the first half of next year. Since the release of the previous version in 2022, there has been great interest from consumers in the next version of this affordable device. According to recent reports, the design of the iPhone SE 4 may bear a striking resemblance to the iPhone 14.
