    An alleged Chicago cop killer is seen foaming at the mouth in a mugshot released by authorities Wednesday.

    Darion McMillian, 23, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder after a traffic stop in the city’s Chatham section turned deadly Monday night, according to the Chicago Police Department.

    At the press conference held on WednesdayChicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx announced charges against McMillian in the deaths of police officer Enrique Martinez and the driver of the car.

    McMillian was in the passenger seat during the stop, which police said was necessary after the vehicle blocked traffic, according to CPD.

    Police said during the stop, officers noticed McMillian reaching for something in a bag next to his feet.

    That’s when McMillian pulled out his automatic pistol and allegedly opened fire, killing Martinez and the driver of the car, according to the Chicago Police Department.

    Police said the alleged killer then pushed the bullet-ridden driver out of the car door and tried to flee the scene by climbing into the driver’s seat.

    McMillian crashed the car and ran into an apartment building, authorities allege. There he removed his ankle monitor with a knife.

    A backseat passenger in the vehicle was also arrested on Monday but was later released without being charged.
