The 17-year-old has broken into the first team with Sporting this season and has impressed many at the club and elsewhere in Europe. Manchester United’s new head coach, Ruben Amorim, wants to bring the young Portuguese to the English club, but Team TALKRivals Liverpool and Manchester City are trying to dash hopes of the duo reuniting.

Quenda is a left-footed right winger and has played an average of 65 minutes per game in his first fourteen appearances at senior level. During this time he had one goal and two assists to his name and switched between Ruben Amorim’s right midfield and right wing positions.

Securing the young forward’s signature and services will not be easy, but with him only 17 years old, potential suitors will wait until the Summer transfer window to make a move for him.

Geovany’s contract also has an £84m release clause, seen as too high by most clubs, and Sporting are refusing to let him leave.
