HOUSTON (AP) — Buddy Hield scored 27 points and the Golden State Warriors squandered a big lead before beating the Houston Rockets 127-121 in overtime on Saturday night.

This is Golden State’s 14th straight regular-season win against the Rockets and its eighth straight win in Houston.

The Warriors were ahead by 31 points in the first half. The Rockets opened the fourth quarter with an 18-2 run.

Golden State scored the first six points in overtime to make the score 125-119 and win its third consecutive game without Steph Curry, who left the game with a left ankle sprain.

The Warriors were ahead by five points with a three-pointer by Jabari Smith Jr., but they brought the difference to 119-117 with 15.5 seconds left in regulation. Aaron Holiday stole the ball from Draymond Green and was fouled seconds later. Tari Eason then hit two free throws to send it into overtime.

Eason led the Rockets with a career-high 27 points. Smith added 21.

Andrew Wiggins added 15 points for Golden State after missing two games with an injury.
