The Trojans are also looking for their first road conference win as they are 0-3 on the road.

When the Trojans beat RutgersUSC scored more than 40 points for the first time since a 48-0 win over Utah State on Sept. 7. They scored 14 points in each of the first three quarters as USC’s offense dominated much of the game. USC failed to score consistently throughout its three-game losing streak. If the Trojans can continue to score at a high rate, they can outlast a struggling Washington offense. The Huskies only managed 16 and 17 points in their two losses against Indiana and Iowa.

USC signs back Woody Marks It broke out during the Trojans’ three-game loss. During the win against Rutgers, Marks rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns and 48 receiving yards. Although he didn’t surpass 100 yards on the ground, it was one of his best performances of the season. He has quietly blossomed into the Trojans’ top offensive weapon this season after transferring from Mississippi State in the offseason. Marks leads the team in receptions with 30 and has 234 receiving yards. If USC wants to have success on offense, they must find a way to continue to put the ball in Marks’ hands.

In each of the Trojans’ three losses on the road to Big Ten opponents, USC had an opportunity to take the lead late in the second half. USC shouldn’t let another conference road game slip by if the Huskies keep the game close in the second half. USC coach Lincoln Riley He must learn from his past mistakes throughout the season and clean up the play-calling mistakes that have dogged the Trojans late in the game. USC, on the other hand, could easily find itself in the driver’s seat during the game and not have to worry about finishing the game.
