“We are still heartbroken beyond words for the tragic and senseless loss of our beloved wife, mother, brother and son. Angela and Mason were taken from us too soon due to the conscience-shocking actions of a police officer. The indictment is only the first step toward accountability.” We offer our deepest gratitude to those who continue to support us during this difficult time and we hope that our fight will serve as a constant reminder that life is precious and justice is necessary and that others will continue to do so. “We will continue to support any action that will help in any way to prevent it from suffering devastating losses.”

The prosecutor’s office said Viveros’ court date has not yet been set.
