McConnell Airman arrested for child sex crimes

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A McConnell Air Force Base Airman was arrested on October 29, accused of criminal sodomy on a child between the ages of 14 and 16.

A search warrant was issued for Airman 1st Class Jonathan Restrepo Osorio, 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, 18th Judicial District, Sedgwick County.

McConnell said military officials cooperated with local authorities and turned Restrepo Osorio over to local law enforcement to continue working through the justice system.

The 20-year-old remains in jail on $100,000 bail.
