SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – A 64-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly attacking a 60-year-old man in what police called an “unprovoked” attack.

Akron police said the incident happened around 8 a.m. at the Mayflower Manor Apartments in the 200 block of S. Main St.

According to police, the victim was repeatedly punched and kicked.

Police said the victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the statements of eyewitnesses, the police caught the suspect at his home and detained him without incident.

She was identified as Ladoris Perkins.

Perkins is charged with aggravated assault and booked into the Summit County Jail.
