Jeremy Renner knows a thing or two about giving back — and he hit it big when hosting the inaugural Heroes Fore Kids Charity Weekend in Las Vegas.

Vegas may have been called “Sin City,” but there was nothing but inspirational celebrations all weekend long, starting on Saturday, October 19. Avengers Star’s own RennerVation Foundation was specifically aimed at helping children in foster care in Nevada.

“I will always be a champion for a child,” Renner said at the event held at the Juliet Cocktail Lounge at the Venetian Resort. “I know the blessings I’ve had in my life that I know many kids don’t have. When you contribute and give beyond yourself, you’re likely to win in life.”

Renner, who has since recovered a near-fatal snowmobile accident In January 2023, the weekend’s festivities kicked off with a star-studded Celebrity Poker Showdown on Saturday. Marvel’s actor He jokes that many of his A-list friends “lost money” on the poker tournament to support the worthy cause of the RennerVation Foundation.

Also on the weekend itinerary were the Celebrity Pro/Am Golf Tournament and the All-Star Concert. Renner also attended the Lenny Kravitz show.

As for stars attending the charity weekend, there were notables including actor Richard Kind, actor and director Timothy Busfield and figure skater Richard Zander, as well as former athletes. NBA star Festus Ezeli – were there to support Renner’s foundation and fundraiser.

Although the main focus of the weekend was to raise money for needy foster children in Nevada, Renner had a side project he was working on in Vegas.

“We are working on a very important film tax credit,” he shared, seeming to imply that Nevada film laws would be revamped.
