Wellington Police are appealing for sightings of missing Terrence Jameson.

The 74-year-old man was last seen at around 9am on Friday, October 25, on a walkway just behind Harcourt Park in Upper Hutt.

Detective Inspector Haley Ryan said: “Terrence used this road frequently and would regularly ride his one-wheeled electric scooter across the duck pond to the Akatarawa Road Bridge.”

“On the morning of October 25, he was carrying his electric unicycle with him, but on this day he could have been carrying it, giving the impression that he was carrying a black box.”

“He also had distinctive red basketball shoes that he may have been wearing or carrying.”

Police have concerns for Jameson’s safety and are appealing for anyone who may have seen him on October 25 or has information that could help locate him to call 105 and quote case number 241025/6976.

Residents of the Harcourt Park/Brown Owl area can expect a continued police presence on Sunday as officers continue to search for him.
