1 person dead, 3 injured in shooting attack in Puyallup

One person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting in Puyallup early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to a report of a shooting near 152nd Street and 66th Avenue E at 12:41 p.m. He investigated the area but could not find the place where the armed attack took place in the first place. It was later determined that the shooting occurred at 152nd Street and 58th Avenue E.

Another person called the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) and arrived at 152nd St. He said there was a vehicle that crashed into a ditch at the intersection of E and 66th Ave E.

When deputies arrived at the scene of the crash, a man was found with a gunshot wound.

Authorities said he was conscious and breathing when they found him. He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Some time later, three more young adults arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to PCSO.

The 23-year-old young man, who was shot, died in the hospital where he was taken.

At this time, deputies said they do not have a description of the suspect.
