After Darshan was granted interim bail pending surgery, Bellary Jail submitted a detailed report of all his activities during his detention

The accused Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa was granted interim bail for six weeks due to a medical emergency requiring surgery in connection with the ongoing murder case of 33-year-old Renukaswamy of Chitradurga.

It has been reported that the actor underwent spinal surgery, which has been postponed for some time. In light of these developments, authorities at Bellary prison submitted a detailed report outlining his daily activities during his detention.

Afterwards darshanWhile his lawyer’s medical reports were presented to the court as evidence, senior officials of Bellary Prison, who had previously been accused of giving him preferential treatment, submitted another report consisting of detailed reports regarding his activities since the day he arrived.

It contains a summary of various events that have taken place since then, including darshan entry and exit times, details about visitors arriving, and live footage of entry and exit from the prison so far.

It also talks in detail about the Kannada actor’s health condition, right down to the check-ups and medications he has been given since the day his back pain started.

While Darshan is still out on bail due to severe restrictions on his movement, his accomplice and lover Pavithra Gowda is still in jail. The bail hearing was repeatedly rejected or postponed to a later date.

Darshan’s increasing problems have not stopped lately. Soon after being released on interim bail, the actor faced a fresh crisis when Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Lawyer Jagadish filed fresh complaints against him for threatening his life.

Darshan and his fans were targeted, Asianet reports Jagadish and his family are being harassed with death threats. The former contestant revealed that she received more than 1,000 harassing calls on such grounds.

For those who don’t know, Darshan’s six-week interim bail is based on a bond of Rs. 2 lakh, production of two guarantors and surrender of passport.
