Former licensed counselor sentenced to 28 years in federal prison for sexually abusing children

Adrian Scott Warren, 47, was charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of possession of child pornography. He pleaded guilty to the first charge and was sentenced to 28 years in federal prison.

Warren will also be sentenced to life probation following her prison sentence. He was also ordered to pay $140,840 to the victim at the center of the sexual abuse accusation and $100,000 to $20 to other victims whose photographs he possessed.

According to court documents, Warren sent a private message to the FBI’s undercover profile through a dating app. This conversation turned into a messaging app where he stated that he was interested in the “youngster”.

Warren also said she had had sexual intercourse with a child since she was seven years old. He also told the undercover agent that he wanted to meet to engage in sexual activity and view child sexual exploitation material (CSAM). He offered to bring the victim with him to the meeting, according to court documents.

In August 2022, Warren went to a hotel where he believed he would meet a nine-year-old boy and engage in sexual activity. He was met at the hotel by FBI agents and his cellphone was seized, according to court documents.

According to court documents, Warren identified the victim during an interview with a CPS Private Investigator and admitted to sexually assaulting the child. He also admitted to possessing CSAM which showed various children between the ages of 0 and 17 engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
