Biden addressed the nation: ‘You can’t love your country only when you win’

Biden said he instructed his administration to work with Trump’s team for a peaceful transition of power.

“No matter who you vote for, one thing I hope we can do is to see each other not as enemies but as our fellow Americans. Turn the temperature down,” Biden said. he said.

He also emphasized that the election was honest, fair and transparent.

According to ABC News, the expected winner in Maine is Vice President Kamala Harris.

Harris won three of the state’s electoral votes, while Trump won one for Maine’s 2nd congressional district.

Trump set to receive intelligence briefings as president-elect

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is preparing to hold intelligence briefings as part of President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the White House.

“ODNI is following the tradition of providing intelligence briefings to the president-elect, which has been in place since 1952,” the DNI said in a statement to ABC News.

Sources told ABC News that Trump, as president-elect, has not yet received an intelligence briefing. Although some members of the transition team have suggested he should take it, it is unclear whether he will or wants to take it.
