BRCC will host Veterans Day Program honoring service members on Thursday

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – BRCC invites the community to honor military veterans at its annual Veterans Day Program on Thursday, November 7.

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to noon at the Magnolia Theater on BRCC’s Mid City Campus. Address: 201 Community College Drive.

The event will pay tribute to the courage, dedication and sacrifice of all who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces.

This year’s keynote speaker is Lt. Col. (Ret.) David Marshall Jr., who had a distinguished military career serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt. Lieutenant Colonel Marshall has served in a variety of leadership roles around the world and brings a unique perspective to the impact of military service and resilience. His numerous awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, and Meritorious Service Medals. In addition to his military accomplishments, Lt. Col. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science from Southern University and A&M College and a Master of Science degree in Supply and Purchasing Management from Webster University.
