Ex-Raider who killed Las Vegas woman and her dog in fiery crash moved to temporary housing

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The former Las Vegas Raiders player convicted of killing a Valley woman and her dog in a crash has moved into temporary housing.

Henry Ruggs, 25, previously worked in the governor’s mansion As part of a DUI ticket. He has now been moved to Casa Grande Transitional Housing, according to Nevada Department of Corrections records.

The onetime first-round NFL draft pick was sentenced to a minimum of three years and a maximum of ten years in state prison on Aug. 9, 2023, after agreeing to plead guilty to a pair of charges.

The former wide receiver was reportedly driving his Chevrolet Corvette as fast as 156 mph, with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit, when he struck and killed Tina Tintor in her Toyota RAV4 in the early morning hours of Nov. 2, 2021.
