Vance’s mother, Beverly Aikins, turned to Facebook on Wednesday to celebrate her son’s victory. Who is JD Vance’s mother?

Aikins grew up in Middletown, where his Kentucky-born parents settled in Ohio. Vance has a half-sister named Lindsay.

Vance’s mother also attended her first solo rally as a vice presidential candidate at Middletown High School in July.
