EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) – A fire at a home in East Hartford has spread almost to a nearby area of ​​brush and woodland.

The East Hartford Fire Department said it responded to the fire on Beacon Hill Road Wednesday morning.

He said the first teams to arrive saw a heavy amount of fire from the back of the house.

Aggressive suppression efforts prevented it from spreading into adjacent bush and woodland and nearby buildings.

It was stated that there were no injuries to fire crews and citizens.

No statement was made about the cause of the fire.
