Kamala Harris will not be making a public speech tonight.

Harris’ campaign co-chairman Cedric Richmond took the stage at the election night event to tell the crowd they should go home.

“We still have votes to count. We have states that haven’t been called yet,” Richmond said. he said.

“We will continue to fight through the night to make sure every vote is counted.”

Before he spoke, the audience had already dwindled.

Richmond said Harris will speak tomorrow.

The event is being held at Howard University, the Washington D.C. college that Harris attended.
