Cardone said the Mar-a-Lago crowd is looking forward to hearing from the GOP presidential candidate.

“He has to win first, and if he doesn’t, nothing else matters,” Cardone said. “Then I would expect him to say we need to get to work, get the economy going, get the border under control.”

Cardone is a businessman, equity fund manager, real estate investor and business writer. Cardone said he became involved in promoting Trump’s political career about four years ago.

But he said he has long admired Trump’s business career.
