How Much Money Seattle Mariners’ Dylan Moore Reportedly Made for the Gold Glove Wi

On Sunday night, Seattle Mariners utility standout Dylan Moore won his first Gold Glove Award. It was a fitting achievement for Moore, whose versatility has been extremely beneficial to the M’s since arriving in 2019.

He won the award in the “utility” category, beating out Mauricio Dubon of the Houston Astros and Willi Castro of the Minnesota Twins.

Moreover, it looks like Moore will take home more than hardware for his victory. According to well-known contract enthusiast Ethan Hulihen, the Gold Glove Award contract also includes a $50,000 bonus.

As of now, this news has not been confirmed by the Mariners media, but Hulihen generally gets these things right. Moore signed a new contract with the M’s ahead of the 2023 season.

According to a press release on M’s website:

Moore, a first-time finalist, played six defensive positions in 2024: shortstop (49 games), third base (45), second base (37), left field (22), first base (11) and center field (1). — good for a .988 fielding percentage with just five errors in 401 total chances. Moore’s value became even more apparent with (JP) Crawford sidelined for multiple IL positions over a long stretch and second baseman Jorge Polanco, who was dealing with knee and hamstring issues at separate points, entering the game as the starter.

In addition to Moore’s win, Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh also received his first career Gold Glove Award. This is the first time M’s There has been a Gold Glove winner since 2020, when Crawford and Evan White took home the award.
