I worry Haaland will leave in 2025 if ‘basic condition’ is not met due to ‘clear stance on next move’

According to reports, Erling Haaland will ‘leave’ Premier League owner Manchester City if he does not meet the Etihad hierarchy’s ‘main condition’.

Man City In the 2022 summer transfer window, the Bundesliga team paid approximately £51 million to transfer Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

Haland He proved to be a great bargain as he established himself as one of the best strikers in the world while part of Pep Guardiola’s squad.

The prolific striker has scored just one goal in his last five Premier League games, but still has 14 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions this season.

He scored 104 goals and 14 assists in 112 matches in all competitions for Manchester City. Frankly, he’s ridiculously nice.

Haaland is under contract until 2027 but has been heavily linked with leaving the team in recent months.

Man City still have more than 100 charges related to alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play rules and a report in Spain claims they are in a ‘compromised’ position heading into next summer.

Head coach Pep Guardiola’s contract expires next summer and he ‘hasn’t made a decision about his future’.

As for Haaland, he has reportedly ‘put his cards on the table’ and said that Guardiola’s stay is ‘a key condition for him to continue at Man City’.

If the former Barcelona or Bayern Munich boss leaves, the striker will ‘leave next summer’ as his ‘stance’ is that he is ‘not ready’ to continue at the Etihad if the head coach leaves.

The report also claims that Haaland is ‘clear about his next move’.

If Guardiola decides not to renew his contract and leave the club, Haaland’s next move is already clear: he will look for a change of scenery, and the place that attracts him the most is Spain.

‘The Norwegian has expressed his admiration for La Liga on many occasions and both Real Madrid and Barcelona would be happy to acquire a player of his caliber.’

‘This will leave the City management in a compromising situation where they will have to look for a technician who can persuade the striker to stay or face a significant loss from both a sporting and financial perspective.

“This summer is a complicated time for Manchester City and their fans, who must wait for Guardiola’s decision to know whether they can trust the unstoppable Erling Haaland.

‘The situation is becoming uncertain, but one thing is certain: without Pep Guardiola, the Norwegian has already made up his mind that his time in Manchester will be over.’

Haaland failed to score at the weekend and was seen limping off during Manchester City’s surprise 2-1 defeat to AFC Bournemouth. Despite this, they will start the Champions League group stages against Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday night.

At the pre-match press conference, Guardiola was asked to give an update on Haaland. He said clearly: “He’s fine.”

He continued: “Manu (Akanji) and Nathan (Ake) are still having problems. Kevin (De Bruyne) is getting better, he’s doing less and less painful sessions, so we think he’s feeling more comfortable. This is good news for all of us.

“Kyle (Walker) has also had knee problems since he started playing for the national team. (Jeremy) Doku has muscle problems, Savinho’s ankle problem is getting better. The rest is fine.”
