South Jersey voters will soon put their final stamp on the 2024 general election.

Following the mail-in and early voting process, Garden Status residents will complete the campaign season by casting their votes on Election Day. The fate of high-profile races for President, Congress and others, as well as numerous referendums affecting residents of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland and Gloucester counties, will be decided.

Polls will open at 6 a.m. in New Jersey and close at 8 p.m. in the Garden State.

If you don’t know where you should vote, you can call your county’s municipal clerk’s office or board of elections office to get specific information about your polling place. You can also find your polling place online at: https://voter.svrs.nj.gov/polling-place-search. Just enter your street address and zip code.

Additionally, sample ballots were mailed about a week before the election. These ballot papers let you know where your polling place is.

The deadline for voting by mail in New Jersey was October 29.

If you haven’t returned your mail-in ballot, you still have time. Ballots postmarked before 8pm on Election Day and received by your county’s board of elections on or before the sixth day after the polls close will still be counted.

You can also drop off your mail ballot at one of your county’s secure ballot drop boxes by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
