‘RHOBH’ alum Teddi Mellencamp is divorcing Edwin Arroyave after 13 years of marriage

Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp is calling it quits on her marriage to Edwin Arroyave.

The reality TV star and podcast host filed her divorce petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday, The Times confirms. Home security director Mellencamp and Arroyave went their separate ways last month after more than 13 years of marriage, according to legal documents.

According to court documents, Mellencamp, 43, cites “irreconcilable differences” and is seeking physical and legal custody of the three young children he shares with Arroyave. “Two Ts in One Pod” co-host announced his divorce on social media over the weekend.

“My priority is my children and ensuring that every consideration is given to their privacy and well-being in this new era,” he said on Instagram. “It wasn’t something I wanted to make public, but I felt that being open, honest and vulnerable was the best way to move forward in order to protect my family from unnecessary speculation and rumors.”

A representative for Mellencamp, the daughter of singer John Mellencamp, did not immediately respond to The Times’ request for additional comment.

Mellencamp married Arroyave, 47, on July 4, 2011. She was a main cast member on Bravo’s “RHOBH” from 2017 to 2020, and later made guest appearances in subsequent seasons. In addition to seeking custody of her children, Mellencamp is also asking the court to grant Arroyave visitation time.

On their anniversaries this year, both Mellencamp and Arroyave celebrated their marriage on social media. Mellencamp, in his post wrote He said their relationship was “filled with years of discovery, laughter, tears, growth and friendship.” He also admitted that their marriage wasn’t perfect, but said they were both trying to make it work.

Arroyave, in his post famous Mellencamp is so much more than the woman of his dreams: “She’s also the mother of my dreams, the wife of my dreams, and the love of my life.”

She added: “Thank you for everything you’ve done for me and our family. I love you.”

Legal documents say Mellencamp and Arroyave officially separated on October 20, four days before their split appeared together at the Plaza Hotel in New York City for the annual gala benefiting the Melanoma Research Foundation. Mellencamp, who spoke about her experiences with the type of skin cancer, served as the event’s emcee.

Arroyave said on Instagram that the premiere “was a beautiful reminder of what (Mellencamp) can do.”
