Distributors wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that Pushpa 2: The Rule will have over 2200 shows in over 600 locations. The film grossed over $250,000 during pre-sales for its premiere. Produced by Ravi Shankar A company from Mythri Movies held a press conference in Hyderabad in October to discuss the pre-release work of the film. He said: “Pushpa 2 has been successful in non-theatrical work and ₹425 crore. When we add theater work ₹1000 crore overall seems achievable in pre-release work, but that is an estimate.” The theatrical rights of the film were valued ₹600 crore worldwide according to Sacnilk.com.

Pushpa 2: The Rule will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali. Arjun will reprise her role as daily wage laborer-turned-smuggler Pushpa Raj. Rashmika The film stars his wife Srivalli and Fahadh as his arch-nemesis SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat. Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya and Ajay also play important roles in the film.

The film was originally supposed to be released on December 6 but was postponed by one day. Vicky will clash with Kaushal and Rashmika starrer Chaava at the box office.
