    The Detroit Lions cruised past the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, defeating them 24-14.

    The win moved the Lions to 7-1 on the year and their sixth straight win.

    It wasn’t the offensive explosion fans were expecting from Detroit, but it was somewhat to be expected given the harsh elements of the rain that fell throughout the game.

    The only knock you could take against the Lions was Jared Goff’s inability to play in cold/bad weather. Detroit is proving that point doesn’t matter because they will shove the ball down your throat

    With the win over the Packers, the Lions are firmly in the driver’s seat of the NFC North. They beat the Minnesota Vikings two weeks ago and beat their other major rival on Sunday.

    Detroit won its first division title since 1993 a year ago and appears headed for another this year. The Lions now look to continue their push toward the top seed in the NFC.
