A fatal single-car crash in Chappaqua closed a portion of the Saw Mill River Parkway Sunday morning, Westchester County police said.

The crash south of NY-120 occurred around 8:45 a.m. Video from the scene shows police veering out of the way of motorists at Exit 32.

The cause of the accident and the identity of the deceased have not yet been disclosed.

A spokesperson for the Chappaqua Fire Department confirmed that a guardrail was passed through the vehicle.

The investigation paralyzed traffic. It is not yet clear how long the road will remain closed.
