Rainy Times are expected for the Twin Cities today through Monday.

We hope you have adjusted to the time change by going back 1 hour, and this time change means that the Twin Cities sunset is 4:58pm tonight and the sun will be at 4:32pm in December, which is the earliest sunset in December. Clocks will switch to Daylight Saving Time (Spring 1 hour ahead) in just over 4 months on March 9, 2025, bringing sunset back to 19:12, with the last sunset being 21:03 in June. Sunrise times are earlier now, so it’s not as dark during the morning commute compared to the past few weeks; Sunrise on Monday, November 4 is 6:56 a.m., but the sun will rise at 7:52 a.m. in late December.

Cloudy and Windy, with showers, drizzle and light rain at times in the Twin Cities this morning, followed by Scattered Showers this afternoon, followed by more Diffuse Rain and established T-Storms with areas of Fog Tonight through Monday morning. Temperatures Today will be in the lower 50s with Gusty Southeast Winds at 10 to 20 mph, with higher gusts up to 25 mph possible at times. Temperatures tonight through Monday morning will be in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees with Southeast Winds 5 to 15 mph. Fog will limit visibility at commuter destinations Monday morning.

Rain and T-Storms likely Monday morning through the afternoon, then drying out after 3pm, meaning the Monday evening commute will be dry. Temperatures on Monday will be near 60 degrees in the afternoon and drop to the low 50s by 6 p.m.

Intermittent light rain is possible on Election Day, otherwise cloudy Tuesday is expected with highs in the low 50s.

The Rest of the Week has Sunny, Partly Cloudy Skies from Wednesday to Saturday; Highs will be mainly in the 50s but near 60 degrees on Saturday, then rain will be possible from late Saturday through Sunday, November 10th. JONATHAN YUHAS
