Man in critical condition after rollover crash in Onondaga Town

ONONDAGA TOWNSHIP, N.Y. – One person was in critical condition Sunday following an early morning rollover crash in the Town of Onondaga that injured two people, deputies said.

Around 2:14 a.m., a woman called 911 to report that three people inside a car were involved in a rollover crash in the 3200 block of West Seneca Turnpike near Kencrest Drive, the Onondaga County 911 Center reported.

According to the information obtained, one person was trapped under the vehicle. Emergency crews were able to save the man and all three people were taken to Upstate University Hospital, according to a statement from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

The man’s condition is critical. Two other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

Deputies are trying to reconstruct the crash to determine its cause, they said.

West Seneca Turnpike was closed between Beef Street and North Townline Road while deputies investigated.
