An Uber Eats driver is being celebrated for his bravery after saving a woman trapped in her burning home in Vista, California.

Nas Mohamed, who was out making a delivery in the early hours of the morning, smelled smoke and followed it to the mobile home engulfed in flames, where he heard the woman’s desperate cries for help.

Mohamed risked his life by entering the fire and found the woman inside as the smoke thickened. First responders arrived in time to help pull him in through the window and rescue one of the family’s cats.

While both Mohamed and the woman were hospitalized, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
