An all-time disgusting scene in bareknuckle boxing, if not in all combat sports, took place on Saturday. BKFC 68 in Newcastle, United Kingdom.

During a preliminary card match, Kyle Redfearn suffered a serious facial injury against Danny Moir that caused the right side of his face to completely disintegrate, resulting in a doctor’s stoppage.

A huge gash formed above his eye. His eye socket was so swollen that his eye was closed. It looked like his nose was broken. It was also seen that half of his face had completely shifted downwards.

It didn’t take long for the ring doctor to decide that the fight should not continue. The stoppage came with just seconds left in Round 2 and Moir was named the winner.
