    FSU Football Releases Jersey Combination for Home Game Against North Carolina

    Florida State returns to action against the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday afternoon at Doak Campbell Stadium. With the Seminoles sitting 1-7 and no longer in contention for a bowl game, the final four games will be played for pride and the future. The Tar Heels, on the other hand, are still vying for a postseason berth and have a chance to break head coach Mack Brown’s long losing streak against FSU (0-11).

    North Carolina enters this matchup at 4-4 overall after the team snapped a four-game slump with a dominant win over Virginia last weekend. In the victory, the Tar Heels collected ten sacks on defense while running back Omarion Hampton surpassed the 1,000-yard mark on the ground. UNC has scored 30-plus points in five of eight games but is allowing 28.4 points per contest.

    Ahead of the matchup with the Tar Heels, Florida State released the jersey combination for the game. The Seminoles will be packing garnet pants for the second time this year – gold helmets, garnet jerseys and garnet pants. The team used six different combinations in nine matches.

    North Carolina had previously announced that it would wear its old blue helmets, white jerseys and white pants for the contest.

    Florida State vs. North Carolina kicks off at 3:30pm EST on the ACC Network with Chris Cotter, Mark Herzlich and Coley Harvey in attendance.
