Emergency services are responding to the scene of a serious crash south of Rotorua.

A police spokesman said: “Emergency services were attending a serious crash reported shortly before 7.30am in Broadlands.” he said.

“It is thought that serious injuries may occur.”

Diversions are currently in place on Ohaaki Road and Vaile Road, off Broadlands Road, and are expected to remain so for some time.
