LeBron James doubles down on Harris’ controversial endorsement video: ‘She definitely wasn’t going the other way’

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James doubled down on his support for Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday, despite facing criticism on social media over accusations of posting an edited video using audio of former President Donald Trump out of context.

James, a long-time critic of Trump, touched on the video of support when he spoke to the media after the Lakers’ 131-125 win over the Toronto Raptors on Friday night.

“I wanted to make sure you were seen, heard and heard.” James said He explained his decision to share the video after returning to Cleveland on Wednesday.

“Having a daughter, having a wife, having a mother and things like that, that’s what Harris believes when it comes to women’s rights, that’s what my children’s future should be and where I think our country should be. That’s how I feel. Approval is just right. So , come on, you know me, it definitely wasn’t going the other way.”

The video, which lasted more than a minute, included some of Trump’s remarks out of context and included other headlines accusing Trump of promoting “racist” and “Nazi rhetoric.” The video also included clips showing Black Americans being attacked.

It also included a clip of controversial comments made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe. Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden.

Many users and other commenters on social media took issue with the editing of the video.

In the days leading up to Tuesday’s election, many celebrities and sports stars have publicly endorsed the candidates, but some have taken a different approach.

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers This week, the focus was on celebrity endorsements as we discussed the picks, which also coincided with the NFL trade deadline.

“If you don’t know what to do at the trade deadline, ask your favorite celebrity,” Rodgers said. “My favorite thing is when the celebrity is bought and paid for by China.”
