MILWAUKEE — Vice President Kamala Harris As the time approaches Election Day, he is urging his supporters to vote.

“We’re going to get this done, but no one can stand on the sidelines,” the Democratic presidential candidate stressed while campaigning in battleground Wisconsin. “You don’t want to look back on those four days and have regrets about what you could have done.”

Harris and the Republican candidate former President Trump, On Friday night, they held dueling rallies several miles apart in Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s largest city.

Hours earlier, while campaigning in Michigan, another key Great Lakes state, Trump told supporters that “nothing matters except what happened on Tuesday.”

“Act like we’re only one point behind. We’re not. We’re up. But act like we’re one point behind on Tuesday,” the former president stressed. He announced that he was once again leading Harris, even though the latest polls continued to show the situation was dire.

As time passes, the campaign strategy also changes.

“Closing arguments have been made. It’s not about persuasion anymore. It’s about engagement. And that’s where all the energy of the campaigns will be directed,” longtime Republican strategist David Kochel told Fox News.

Kochel, who has worked on numerous GOP presidential campaigns, said: “At this point people’s decisions are made. At this point there are very few people to persuade. And if they are deciding, they are deciding whether to vote or sit on the couch.”

Harris and Trump held their final events in the western battlegrounds of Arizona and Nevada on Thursday, and Friday’s competing rallies were their final stops in Wisconsin. Before Election Day.

The razor-thin margins in those three states, along with Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina, President Biden’s Victory over Trump in 2020 and likely will determine whether Harris or Trump wins the 2024 elections.

Both candidates will continue their tempo this weekend.

Harris is campaigning in Georgia on Saturday and North Carolina and makes multiple stops in Michigan on Sunday. On election eve, he’s sweeping Pennsylvania, the biggest prize among the seven battleground states with 19 electoral votes.

Trump is campaigning in Georgia, North Carolina this weekend and Pennsylvania. He also takes a detour Saturday to Virginia, a once swing state that has gone blue in presidential elections for two decades. The former president will hold a rally in the conservative southwestern part of the state.

The former president made a similar stop in another blue-leaning state. new mexico, Thursday.

On Monday, the day before the election, Trump will campaign in North Carolina and Pennsylvania and then hold his final rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the city where he wrapped up his 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns.

But standard bearers are not the only ones on the road. Running mates – Republican vice presidential candidate Sen. of Ohio. J.D. Vance and Democratic vice presidential candidate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz — along with top surrogates — are rolling across the country.

Away from the spotlight, campaign workers and volunteers are making their final rounds, knocking on doors, calling, texting and emailing to make sure their supporters vote early or early. will vote on election day.

A choice made in the margins can change everything.

“This is about getting people to the polls, returning absentee ballots, getting early votes left at the door, and leaving nothing on the field,” Kochel emphasized.
