Former Republican congresswoman Liz Cheney responded to Donald Trump’s comments about her, calling him a “cruel, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be cruel.”

Trump was insulting about former vice president Dick Cheney and his daughter at an event in Arizona yesterday. Both are fierce critics of Trump and support Kamala Harris.

Trump said: “I don’t blame (Dick Cheney) for being loyal to his daughter, but (Liz Cheney) is a very stupid individual, very stupid. She’s a radical war hawk.”

“Let’s put him in there with a rifle and nine barrels shooting at him… Let’s see how he feels about it when the guns are pointed in his face.

“You know those who sit in a nice building in Washington and say, ‘Wow, we’ll send, let’s send 10,000 soldiers straight into the mouth of the enemy’ are all war hawks. But he’s a stupid person.”

Liz Cheney retorted in her post about X: “This is how dictators destroy free nations. They threaten to kill anyone who speaks against them.”
