    Artificial intelligence’s aging in movies is decreasing “This is amazing,” says Tom Hanks. His character goes from adolescence to old age

    Tom Hanks has praised the “astonishing” use of artificial intelligence to de-age him in “real time” on the set of his new movie Herewhile acknowledging that technology has caused great concern in Hollywood.

    HereIn US theaters on November 1, starring Hanks and Robin Wright As a couple trying to keep their family together through births, marriages, divorces and deaths for decades, even generations.

    Hanks portrays his character from an idealistic teenager through various stages of youth and middle age to a frail old man.

    But instead of relying solely on makeup, filmmakers artificial intelligence studio Metaphysic, which uses a tool called Metaphysic Live to rejuvenate and “age” players.

    The technology worked so quickly that Hanks was able to instantly watch his “deepfake” performance after each scene.
