Mother Realizes Cartoons Are Turned Off, Her Baby Can’t Cope With What’s on Her Screen

A new mother was traveling in the car with her baby when she noticed that the tablet suddenly went silent and her son was acting erratic.

Rachel, a dental assistant from Indiana, is the proud mother of 4-month-old Winston. as he said news weekhe is now at the age where he can “fight naps.”

The family was recently going on a road trip with Rachel in the front passenger seat and Winston’s father, his grandfather, next to the baby in the backseat.

After installing Mickey Mouse cartoons It seemed to work, until I realized that Winston had somehow turned off the show, to help calm him down on the trip when he wasn’t interested in any of his toys. But she wasn’t crying…she was on a shopping spree.

Inside a video to Rachel’s house tiktok On Oct. 20, @rachelmarie_105, which has more than 54,000 likes, wrote: “When Mickey Mouse stopped playing but the baby didn’t cry. Turns out he was buying a new Dell Computer.”

The clip from Rachel’s front seat shows Winston using his feet to navigate a website. When zoomed in, it shows that he is considering purchasing a computer monitor as his random taps bring him to the page.

Rachel said news week He said that when Mickey Mouse stopped playing he assumed “the tablet was dead because it was an old tablet with not very good batteries.”

“I turned around and (Winston) was about to make a purchase!”

She explained that payment information is not stored on the tablet, so Winston, who will be 5 months old on November 6, cannot pay for the monitor but “definitely wants to buy one.”

TikTok users were in trouble, with one commenter joking: “At least he’s looking at the budget-friendly ones, he’s so respectful!”

Another parent commented on this moment: “My baby was composing an email when her schedule went quiet.” Another parent said: “I’m impressed with how coordinated their little feet are. My feet could never do it!”

Others were, as Rachel described, “judging quickly” and complaining that a baby shouldn’t have access to a tablet. However, as he stated, he only watched cartoons to help him fall asleep because they forgot his sound machine at home.

“I have no regrets because I know I’m a good mom, a tough, dedicated, breastfeeding mom, and a little Mickey Mouse in here isn’t so bad,” she said.

By 5 months, babies can see several feet in front of them and can focus much more on specific objects, according to KidsHealth.org. They learn to enjoy intricate patterns and color variations and can see the difference between different colors, making brightly colored cartoons attractive.

“At the end of the day, no matter how you parent your child, there will always be someone who disagrees with you,” Rachel added.

“As long as you know you’re having a baby well taken care ofThat’s all that matters.”
