Suspect Thomas Gannon, 56, Rosas’ alleged sugar daddy, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his Pennsylvania home on Wednesday.

Phillips says Rosas had a romantic relationship with Gannon for about four years and financed some of Gannon’s projects during that time.

He says Rosas planned to visit him in Queens, but Rosas never showed.

“She was beautiful and talented,” he said. “He truly lit up a classroom like no other.”

Phillips described Rosas as a hard-working and talented artist with a unique background. “I wish he had killed himself instead of her,” he said.

Authorities are not saying how Rosas died and the investigation is ongoing.
