Newly single Isla Fisher has finally sold her Sydney flat, weeks after canceling a planned auction due to ‘weak demand’

Isla Fisher has successfully recovered from her long-time fling in Sydney following her divorce from Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen.

Fisher, who splits his time between homes in London and Los Angeles, bought the flat in Sydney’s upmarket Woollahra district shortly after finding success on Home and Away.

According to Realestate.com.au, Fisher paid just $171,500 for a two-bedroom, one-bathroom flat in the Art Deco-style last block of Wiltshire Towers in 1995.

“With a New York-inspired feel, this impeccable Art Deco apartment offers the best of the East in location and lifestyle,” the marketing read.

“Full of natural light, this hotel blends tranquil parkside living with a cosmopolitan flair, all a stone’s throw from Sydney’s most sought-after destinations.

“Whether it’s a morning coffee in Woollahra Village or a shopping spree in Bondi Junction, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of nature and city life.”

Australian actor He planned to auction the property in September, hoping for $1 million, but unexpectedly canceled the auction due to weak demand..

Property store Domain confirmed on Wednesday that Fisher had finally sold for an undisclosed price through a private negotiation earlier this month.

Although the sale price has not been disclosed, the Wedding Crashers star is sure to make a tidy profit from the sale, which is handled by KJ Agency.

The sale means Fisher no longer owns property in Australia and comes as the actress continues to negotiate a divorce settlement with Baron Cohen, with whom she shares two daughters.

Baron Cohen and Fisher confirmed in April that they would be going their separate ways after 13 years of marriage, and announced they had officially filed for divorce last year.

“After more than two decades of long tennis matches, we are finally hanging up our rackets,” the couple said in a joint statement on Instagram.

“We have filed a joint application to end our marriage in 2023. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working on this amendment.

“We will forever share our commitment and love for our children.”
