Heather Gay and Meredith Argue Over Bronwyn’s Husband

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Heather Gay And Meredith Marks They may be best friends but the second one is ‘Wife’ Negative I’m on Heather’s side when it comes to her point of view Bronwyn Newport‘s marriage.

In fact, Meredith and Heather were talking back and forth as they discussed the issue — more specifically, Bronwyn and her husband Todd Bradley To do no marriage contract — on the October 30 episode The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After the Show.

Heather, however, argued that Bronwyn was wrong to be upset that she and several other ladies questioned her lack of a prenup because Bronwyn “makes a lot of jokes” about her marriage.

“He had brought all these topics to the group, made hundreds of jokes about it, and then took me to task for commenting on it or having an opinion about it,” Heather told Meredith. After the Show. “And you your legal backgroundI know, for someone with such an age difference and such a disparity in wealth, pre-nup is a common practice…”

Meredith’s response? To Heather’s surprise, he said “yes and no.”

“There are many reasons why it is more advantageous to have something, and there are many reasons why it is more advantageous not to have it,” explained Meredith. “If everything is prenuptial and tied up, you don’t even want a prenuptial agreement.”

Still, Heather wasn’t convinced. Addressing Todd’s career historyhe said, “You say you’re a trader at Goldman Sachs, you say you’re an intellectual guru, and then you marry just for love? I feel like that’s a mixed message.”

“Well, I don’t understand. Being smart and driven doesn’t mean you can marry for love? What do you say?” replied Meredith.

“No, you can’t,” Heather joked. “That means you’re stupid.”

When Meredith told him he might want to revise that statement, he didn’t respond at all: “I stand by that.”

Why was Bronwyn Newport angry with Heather Gay?

In his own interview RHOSLC After the ShowBronwyn explained that she doesn’t necessarily get angry when people joke about her marriage to Todd. However, he objected to the way Heather talked about her husband.

“I always joke about people’s assumptions that I’m a gold digger or a trophy wife, mostly because it just defuses the situation. I always lead with that and then I assume it’s over and we’re done with it because I already made a joke ,” Bronwyn explained. “I think that’s where I started to get so upset British (Bateman) So is Heather, calling me a gold digger isn’t that funny, it’s not that original and it’s getting tired, but I thought the ongoing conversation about the prenup and other stuff was starting to take the subject away from me and turn into ‘Todd is stupid’. And I can’t stand too much disrespect towards Todd.”

He continued: “So I want to say she’s stupid for not having a prenup, and then when I call Heather and say, ‘No, I support women getting a prenup,’ I see Heather doing that where she’s caught by something very far away and trying to twist it.” “

After all, Bronwyn wanted Heather to apologize during the conversation in Episode 7. “Just say, ‘I understand why this bothers you.’ Nothing! He wasn’t going to give me anything,” Bronwyn said.

Why wasn’t Heather Gay invited to Bronwyn’s trip to Palm Springs?

Bronwyn explained RHOSLC After the Show“This is an anniversary trip, and the way Heather asked about my prenup in a very calculated way felt like she was speaking ill of my marriage. And we needed to clear that up before we celebrated my anniversary.”

As fans surely know, Heather and Bronwyn didn’t make it during the Episode 7 session.

Heather Gay’s reaction to not being invited to Bronwyn’s Palm Springs trip

Heather noted: RHOSLC After the Show He felt like Bronwyn was “picking and choosing” what she wanted to be mad at… if only to justify the fact that she would “never” invite him to the Palm Springs trip.

“He wanted this to be a couples trip, and he wanted a way to do it without getting his hands dirty,” Heather said. “He wanted to hurt my feelings and create a huge rift between us, and that’s exactly what he did. Don’t plan a girls’ trip with the people I’m closest to and then tell me it’s my fault I wasn’t involved.”
