Death Threat to Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique: A 27-year-old youth was arrested from Noida for allegedly making threatening calls to Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique, son of slain NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique. The arrest was made by the Mumbai police after a death threat call was received at Siddiqui’s public relations office in Bandra East on Friday evening.

According to sources familiar with the developments, it was determined that one of the arrested defendants was Gürfan Han.

“The person on the phone had threatened to kill Zeeshan Siddiqui and actor Salman Khan and demanded money. Following this, a case was filed against unidentified persons at Nirmalnagar Police Station based on the complaint made by Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office employee.”

However, the police said that the threatening young man did not demand money directly, his aim was to get some money with this excuse.

Earlier, Salman Khan had received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, whose suspected members opened fire outside the actor’s house in Bandra in April. Following repeated threats, the player’s security has been increased. Meanwhile, Salman Khan has continued to keep a low profile and limited his public appearances after the murder of his politician friend Siddique a few weeks ago. The infamous Lawarence Bisnoi Gang had also claimed responsibility for the murder of the former Maharashtra Minister.

Meanwhile, Siddique was very close to the Hindi film community and was known for throwing lavish iftar parties and hosting many important guests. It was the Baba Siddique Iftar party in 2013 that ended the long-running feud between two of Bollywood’s biggest superstars, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, after a 5-year dispute that divided the entire Bollywood into 2 camps of loyalists.
