Humberside PC told ex-lover he would crash car and ‘leave her there’

A misconduct hearing at the force’s facility in Goole described a pattern of abusive behavior by the officer that was “controlling or oppressive” towards two women who were serving as officers at the time.

Lawyer Olivia Checa-Dover, representing the force, said PC Madden was jealous of his ex-girlfriend, referred to as “PC A”, having contact with men and had turned up at his home uninvited on numerous occasions, once in a marked police vehicle. June 2020.

Ms Checa-Dover told the panel he became verbally abusive, “berated her for her interaction with a male colleague” and suggested she be “double teamed by two male colleagues, meaning she had sex with two men at the same time”.
