KANSAS CITY, MO. (KCTV) – An elderly woman has died weeks after suffering life-threatening injuries in a crash.

The crash on Oct. 10, 2024, in the area of ​​3914 Elmwood Boulevard, left the woman trapped between the door and frame of a black Nissan Murano and a wooden utility pole.

Police said the woman was taken to Truman Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. On Monday, the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office said the woman was pronounced dead on Saturday, Oct. 26.

His death was the 80th death to occur in a car crash in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2024.
