TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – Tyler police are on the scene of a shooting that left two people dead Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred in the 700 block of Chimney Rock Drive in south Tyler around 1:25 p.m., according to Tyler Police Department PIO Andy Erbaugh. When police arrived at the scene, they found a father and son dead, 88-year-old Otto Gyallai and 45-year-old Anthony Gyallai. He was injured by a bullet at home.

According to Erbaugh’s statement, Anthony Gyallai’s gunshot wound was self-inflicted.

Tyler Police Crime Scene Investigation teams and Crimes Against Person detectives are investigating the scene.
