ATLANTA – One person was injured and another was taken into custody during an overnight shooting investigation in Buckhead.

Police said the attack occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. Monday in the PetSmart parking lot in the 3200 block of Peachtree Road.

According to investigators, the victim was shot several times in the leg during an argument over a woman.

Paramedics took the victim to Grady Hospital. The injured person is expected to survive.

Authorities reported that the suspect who carried out the armed attack was detained.

Police did not identify either man.
