No threat to public after Fountain found at Walmart

FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KKTV) – A Fountain Walmart has reopened and police say there is no threat to the public.

Several 11 News viewers reported a large police presence at the Walmart in Fountain. Police tell 11 News the incident stemmed from someone having a mental health crisis.

It was stated that the store was quarantined for the safety of the customers inside and the person in question was treated by medical personnel.

They said so far no injuries have been reported to anyone and Walmart has been able to reopen.
