Cold overnight with few showers in the south

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Skies will be clear for everyone tonight across southern Maine when a few clouds and showers move out to sea a little after midnight. Low temperatures will be very cold, from the teens (teens) to the lower 30s. Everyone can expect low temperatures below freezing.

Monday will be a sunny but cold day as high pressure increases. High temperatures will range in the 40s. Winds will be out of the northwest at 5-15 mph, gusts to 30 mph. Small Craft Advisories will end at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning. Monday night will see lows in the upper teens (teens) to 30s, with a very high risk of freezing once again.

Tuesday afternoon will start sunny before clouds move in from the west. High temperatures will warm slightly, from the low 40s to the mid-50s. The wind will calm down strongly. Warm air will enter Maine from the west Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday morning, bringing showers and milder temperatures.

Although the weather will not be completely cloudy on Wednesday, it will be mostly showery due to the warm weather front. Precipitation will vary below half a centimeter. High temperatures will be warmer, in the mid-50s to mid-60s. Wind gusts are expected to reach 25 miles per hour.

Thursday (HALLOWEEN) will be the hottest day of the week! Skies will be partly sunny and temperatures will be in the low 60s to low 70s. Winds are expected to reach 25 mph. A cold front will move into northern Maine late Thursday. Most people should make do with dry conditions on Halloween, which will be a great, warm day for trick-or-treating and all Halloween Festivities.

It will be seen that the cold front will pass by noon on Friday. The first half of the day will be mostly cloudy, followed by a mostly sunny afternoon. Showers will be lighter and more scattered than on Wednesday morning. High temperatures will range from the upper 40s to mid 60s. Wind gusts will reach 30 mph.

Saturday will be mostly sunny. High pressure returns to our forecast, but temperatures will be cold. High temperatures will range from the low 40s to low 50s as cold weather returns. Winds will reach speeds of 20 miles per hour.

MONDAY: Sunny and cold. High temperatures in the 40s. Northwest west winds 5-15 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph. Small Craft Advisories end Monday morning. Low temperatures Monday night are in the upper 10s to low 30s.

TUESDAY: Sunny morning before clouds arrive in the afternoon. High temperatures in the low 40s to mid 50s. Warm weather with showers enters from Tuesday night to Wednesday.

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy weather. Showers early in the day. Precipitation under half an inch. High temperatures in the mid-50s to mid-60s. Wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour.

THURSDAY (HALLOWEEN): Partly sunny skies. High temperatures in the low 60s to low 70s. Wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour. Great Halloween Prediction!
