Long-running Dairy Queen location in San Antonio is closing permanently

SAN ANTONIO – Dairy Queen on San Antonio’s North Side closed permanently Wednesday, according to a note from the restaurant.

After more than 20 years of serviceThe Dairy Queen restaurant at 1914 Jackson Keller Road near West Avenue has closed its doors for good.

The restaurant’s note expressed gratitude for customer support over the years.

“We are deeply saddened by this decision, but will always appreciate the love and kindness shown by this great community. Thank you and I love you all,” the note read.

The note did not explain the reason(s) for the restaurant’s closure.
